Yes, we have a Peugeot which gave its name to today.
Meet the 508. Somewhat confusingly it replaced the 407 and 607. No, don’t ask me what happened to the 507.
Made in France and China, because PSA had the same ambitions in the Middle Kingdom that everyone else had, the 508 shares its platform with the Citroen C5 and comes with the usual range of four cylinder engines, nearly all diesel in Europe but not in China, and the usual five and six speed manual or automatic boxes.
More interestingly, it’s available with one of the very few diesel electric hybrid drivetrains. Just like this.
You can get a manual, diesel wagon as well. Just like this:
